Following the Government briefing on Saturday 31st October, unfortunately all YMCA Fylde Coast centres will be closed to the general public after last entry on Wednesday 4th November 2020 until 2nd December 2020 at the earliest.
We have loved seeing you back in our centres and with over 85,000 visits, we thank you for your continued support. We hope you agree that our staff and Covid-Secure protocols have ensured a safe environment for you to workout in. Our centres are essential for the nation’s fight against Covid, for boosting our immunity, our mental health and for lessening health inequalities. We will be back to ensure that you continue on your journey with us.
Payment Freeze
- If you are paying for your membership by direct debit, you do not need to cancel, your account will automatically be frozen during the closure, until we reopen.
- If you have paid for an annual membership, we will extend it by the length of time the centres are closed (dated from Monday 2nd November 2020)
- If you have paid for a short term membership, we will extend it by the length of time the centres are closed (dated from Monday 2nd November 2020)
- If you have recently joined us in October 2020 via a direct debit membership, we will carry the November 2020 payment over when our centres reopen.
Some of those paying by direct debit will have already paid for November at the beginning of this month (around 1st). Therefore, this payment will be refunded. As you know we are a local charity (no. 1074571) and if you would like to contribute & continue paying your membership voluntarily as a donation throughout lockdown, please visit ymcayactive.org/contribute or email enquiries@fyldecoastymca.org, thank you!
In the meantime, we’ll keep you updated via email, website, YMCA app and social media as and when we receive any further information about any reopening plans.
We have been humbled to see the communities’ response and would like to show our appreciation to our staff, members and customers who have continued to work tirelessly to ensure our centres remain covid-secure. We thank you for your patience, dedication and continued support
Look after yourselves and each other as we will continue to help in our communities in any way we can. Yours in Mind, Body and Spirit #strongertogether
