We offer dedicated lane swimming, adult only swim times, kids fun swims with giant inflatables and water toys and family swimming.

Kids Swimming Lessons
YMCA offers a comprehensive programme of swimming lessons for children aged 3+. All our lessons follow the Amateur Swimming Associations’s (ASA) National Plan for Teaching Swimming and are instructed by highly trained ASA qualified teachers.
Also derived from the ASA, Swimfit is an alternative way of exercising to help achieve your health and fitness goals designed to keep you motivated through a varied programme in workout groups. For more info click here.
At YMCA we offer swimming clubs at Fleetwood YMCA, Poulton YMCA, St Annes YMCA Pool and Gym and Rural Splash YMCA Kirkham.
Swimming for Babies and Toddlers
We have a variety of sessions and classes ideal for babies and toddlers to encourage their development and confidence in the water.
Rookie Lifeguard Programme
This is an amazing opportunity for 8-14 year old’s to take part in. Learning lifesaving, monitoring and control skills gives young people the chance to work towards nationally recognised certificates and awards (N.P.L.Q.). Which is great for work experience and career opportunities such as pool and beach lifeguards once 16. All this whilst having fun in the pool!
