Creating a Safer Community
As we pledge to make our communities forever safer, we are aware of the huge importance of water safety, especially in costal areas.
Each year our lifeguards help children struggling in the water both in our pools and on the beaches around the Fylde Coast, but not all water has a lifeguard handy!
Learning to swim is not just a way to ensure that a child is safer in the water. It can also be a way to make friends, get active and for some – even a career! Ellie Simmonds, Adam Peaty and even Rebecca Adlington all started with swimming lessons at their local pool!
Our Swim England qualified teachers will support and encourage your child through each step from blowing bubbles and floating to perfecting their stroke and swimming distances of 1000m and beyond!
Some swimmers even go on to take it up as a hobby joining clubs such as Fleetwood District Amateur Swimming Club and swimming competitively!
