Fylde Coast YMCA in partnership with Lancashire County Council
Fylde Coast YMCA x Lancashire Warm Spaces
Due to the rising cost of heating your home this year, Fylde Coast YMCA have teamed up with Lancashire County Council to provide a completely free warm space, with hot food and drink.
If you would like to stay warm and grab some hot food and drink for free, please visit: YMCA Lofthouse Building, London Street, Fleetwood, Lancashire, FY7 6JL.
We are open Wednesdays and Fridays 15:30 – 18:30.
Anyone and everyone is welcome.
What is Warm Spaces?
Lancashire County Council are working with community, and faith organisations, and parish and town councils to set up more warm spaces across Lancashire.
We have developed a network of warm, safe and welcoming spaces to support residents during the winter months. These warm spaces will provide you with somewhere to eat and drink, stay warm, access information and advice or spend time with others, with no judgement.
With the cost of living crisis, many of us are facing tough decisions. Some of us have moved to working from home following the pandemic and are facing a winter with increased energy bills. Others are facing even harder decisions about whether to heat or eat. We don’t believe this is right and we are playing our part in helping those that need these spaces (Warm Spaces).
Warm Spaces is designed to signpost anyone in need of warmth, to a warm space to share with others.
To find your nearest Warm Space, to become a Warm Space, or for more information, please visit Lancashire Warm Spaces.
