YMCA Fylde Coast were honoured on Friday 10th November to be awarded Active Workplace of the Year at the Fylde Council Sports Awards. The honour continued as our Y: Women Can team also received an award for Contribution to Women’s Participation!

It was wonderful to see a huge array of local sporting achievements and deserved winners on the night, plus amazing examples of dedication to the cause. Together, we are making our communities active through sport”
YMCA Fylde Coast have a number of dedicated staff members and volunteers that act as workplace champions. Our champions work with local organisations to provide activity sessions such as circuits, fitness pilates and yoga to employees within the workplace. Last year YMCA Fylde Coast served 12,250 members across 10 leisure facilities, receiving over 1.3 million visits.
748 women joined Y:Women Can and held nearly 500 community sport sessions. Our team also operate community sessions and weight management programmes that are free to access for local community members. For more information, visit our Your Move website here
