Free swimming for children with an FY7 postcode continues at YMCA Fleetwood Health and Fitness Centre throughout the Summer Holidays and now includes Marine Splash!

School’s Out this Summer! Thanks to the team at YMCA Fleetwood and our partners, free swimming and entry to Marine Splash is available during public swimming sessions for children aged 16 and under. Proof of residency at an FY7 postcode e.g. recent utility bill or driving licence is required. For free swimming, any children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by a paying parent or guardian aged 18 or over at a ratio of 2:1 as per normal swimming.
All children wishing to take part in the free sessions must complete a registration form before participating. Forms are available from YMCA Fleetwood. In order to gain entry, all forms must be signed by a parent or guardian aged 18 or over.
All children entering free swimming will be given a membership card which they must bring every time they wish to swim and/or enter Marine Splash for free. Without this card they will not be allowed into the pools until their parent or guardian completes another registration form.
Free swimming will operate exactly as a paid session and therefore does not include fun swims or holiday activities.
Our maximum bather loads will be adhered to. Due to the expectancy that the centre will be busy you may find that you will need to wait before being allowed entry to the pools and/or Marine Splash.
Please note that our existing operating procedures cannot be altered
