Wyre’s leisure centres set to reopen

We are pleased to announce that our bid for the Government’s National Leisure Recovery Fund has been successful, resulting in a £220,000 grant.

This money, in addition to the £1 million of additional funding provided by the council, means that leisure centres across the borough can begin to reopen soon.

Launched earlier this year by Sport England, the fund was made available for public sector leisure centres to give them the best chance of recovery once restrictions are lifted.

YMCA Fylde Coast Announcement – Tier 4 Restrictions

We hope you have had a lovely Christmas and we thank you for your continued support. We were looking forward to welcoming you back in 2021 with a fresh start and we are so sad to let you know that following the Government briefing on Wednesday 30th December, unfortunately all YMCA Fylde Coast centres will be closed to the general public from tomorrow (31st December). Lancashire will enter tier 4 restrictions from midnight which requires leisure centres, gyms and pools to close.
