YMCA Update – England Moves to Step 4 – Booking Gym, Swim & Classes

Over the last 18 months since the start of the pandemic, our focus has been on the safety of our members and staff, providing spacious, hygienic and safe environments for you to visit and work out in. This is why our approach to operating safely has been approved by industry experts across the country.

After the government recently confirmed the country would move to Step 4 of the COVID-19 roadmap on July 19th, several legislative restrictions can now be lifted.

Holiday Club for Kids

Working in partnership with Lancashire, Wyre and Lancaster Council, YMCA Fleetwood, YMCA Thornton & YMCA Lancaster are running a free holiday club programme for children on free school meals. Come and enjoy fun activities, healthy meals and more!

Funded by the Department for Education, the Holiday Activity and Food programme (HAF) provides free meals and fun activities for children and young people in Wyre who are eligible for benefits- related free school meals.
