Come and join YMCA Thornton in launching Les Mills Virtual on Saturday 13th May 2017! Les Mills Born To Move – Coming to YMCA Thornton 11 May 2017

Les Mills Born to Move exercise classes are coming soon to YMCA Thornton after a successful trial period. Classes have been specially designed by Les Mills for children aged between 2 – 16 years. Activities are split into certain age-ranges to capture the imagination and inspire children to get them moving and begin to participate in learning basic fitness skills. Born to Move classes will be running each week starting from Thursday 11th May 2017.

Daphne’s Move to Becoming Healthier

Daphne Stockton’s story began with a routine visit to her GP for her hypertension test to check her blood pressure. This trip to the doctor resulted in her being told that her Blood Pressure was too high and she weighed 19 stone and diagnosed as being obese.

Her nurse suggested that she be referred onto the Your Move Weight Management programme operated by the YMCA.
