Creche Services

We know it can be difficult to fit your workout in or enjoy a class or a swim when you have little ones. And we all know the energy it takes to look after little ones too! Exercise is a great way of recharging your batteries so you’re ready to take on their boundless energy and enthusiasm!

So you can see why our crèche services are a huge plus point for our members with small children.

We operate professionally managed creche services at Thornton YMCA and Fleetwood YMCA on a daily weekday basis.

Crèche at Thornton YMCA

Open: Monday – Friday for youngsters aged 6 weeks up to 5 years.
Times: (Session 1) 9.30am – 10.50am and (Session 2) 10.55am – 12.15pm

Member Booking Information:

The use of the creche at Thornton YMCA is included in the Y:Active Gold, Y:Active Silver, Y:Active Student and Y:Active Family Premium Memberships. All other members will receive discounted member rates when booking the creche. You can book your child into either session 1 or session 2 from 8.00pm the evening before you wish to use the creche services.

Non Member Booking Information:

Bookings are taken for session 1 or session 2 from 8.30am on the day you wish to use the creche services.

Crèche at Fleetwood YMCA

Open: Monday – Friday for youngsters from birth age up to 5 years.
Times: Mon and Tues: 9.15am – 12.15pm, Wed and Fri: 9.15am – 11.15am, Thurs: 9am – 11.15am

Member Booking Information:

The use of the creche at Fleetwood YMCA is included in the Y:Active Gold, Y:Active Silver, Y:Active Student and Y:Active Family Premium Memberships. All other members will receive discounted member rates when booking the creche. You can book your child’s place from 8.30am on the day you wish to use the creche and places are for a minimum of 1 hour and maximum of 2 hours are available.

Bookings are taken from 8.30am on the day you wish to use the creche services and places for a minimum of 1 hour and maximum of 2 hours are available.
