The ability to swim is an important life skill which thankfully most of us only use for pleasure, fitness and sport. Actually learning to swim at any age is a huge challenge and the older you get the more daunting it can become.
But learning to swim should be as enjoyable as swimming itself and with us it is.
Swimming Lessons at Fleetwood YMCA
We hold swimming lessons for parents and babies, parents and toddlers, children age 4 and upwards and for adults, at various times throughout the week at all of our Swimming Pools.
Our swimming teachers are ASA qualified with N.P.L.Q. or Swimming Teachers Rescue Certificate where applicable.
All swimming lessons start from parent and baby sessions, pre-school sessions and then progress through the ASA Swimming National Plan from Stage 1 up to Stage 10. Other Swimming Awards are also available.
Don’t forget we also provide swimming lessons for adults.
Kids Fun Swim Activities
We offer fun swim sessions with giant inflatables and water toys at the weekends and in the school holidays at most of our Swimming Pools for ages 8 – 16 years.
