Physiotherapy

The team of Chartered and HPC registered practitioners utilise a variety of techniques to treat joint, muscular skeletal problems and offer advice to ensure that the shortest possible delay occurs between injury and a return to normal physical and sporting activities. Our physiotherapists have experience of working at Olympic and Commonwealth Games as well as with national squads at international events and championships.

Aquatherapy

Everyone can benefit from individual and group sessions in the warm safe hydrotherapy pool with its jet spa facility. The relaxing effect and the buoyancy of the water will allow much earlier pain free movement than would be possible on land and so it provides an ideal medium for treating painful joints and encouraging muscular re-education.

Podiatry

Foot conditions can become debilitating. Our HPC registered Podiatrist offers a comprehensive foot care service, from diagnosis through to treatment and advice. Using our expertise we can alleviate, prevent and treat many conditions affecting the feet and lower limbs. The Podiatrist is able to assess, treat and prevent sports injuries, using biomechanical assessment and gait analysis, and if necessary the provision of orthotic supports.

Remedial Massage and Acupuncture

Acupuncture

Remedial massage is used in a wide variety of conditions which require the mobilisation of stiff joints and the soft tissue release with stretching of shortened groups of muscles, together with general postural correction and exercises. There is also an overall lowering of stress and tension and an improved sense of physical and mental wellbeing.

Acupuncture is an ancient oriental art of healing which aims to restore bodily harmony by addressing and treating problems whether they be physical or emotional in origin.
