Garstang YMCA Facilities
Welcome to Garstang YMCA! We have two centres in Garstang; the Swimming Centre on Oak Rd and the Leisure Centre on Windsor Rd. The facilities in Garstang include:

Garstang YMCA Swimming Centre
The swimming centre was opened in September 1974. It was built for the community of Garstang – for both public and school usage and the 20m, four lane swimming pool still accommodates the whole community today.
The pool is suitable for all levels of competency and our swimming programme includes early bird swimming, swimming lessons for all ages, aqua aerobics, fun swims, adults only and parent and toddler groups.
The pool is also available for private hire for birthday parties, schools and groups. We have various clubs that use the pool including Garstang Swimming Club, Fernleigh, Garstang High School and Myerscough College.
Garstang YMCA Leisure Centre
The leisure centre was established in September 1985 and hosts a variety of activities; including badminton, football, netball, table tennis and volleyball. The centre also runs 5-a-side football leagues and indoor bowls leagues. We also have a wide range of aerobic and martial arts classes in the day time and evenings.
Garstang Badminton Club use the facilities for league matches and training, and we also have a netball and volleyball club using the centre too. The centre is also available for private hire for birthday parties, school, groups and clubs.
Within the centre, we have a small, but compact gym with 9 stations. The staff are able to give inductions and programmes to all members. Both the sites in Garstang have wheelchair access and changing facilities.
