Swimming Pools
With six swimming pools across five of our Centres, you’ll definitely find yourself some swim time.
- Fleetwood YMCA boasts a large 25m, 7 lane pool with a smaller 20m learner pool alongside.
- St Annes YMCA Pool and Gym also hosts a large 25m pool.
- Garstang YMCA Swimming Centre, Poulton YMCA Swimming and Fitness Centre and Rural Splash YMCA Kirkham all offer modestly sized pools, which are also perfect for a variety of swimming activities.
- All of the YMCA swimming centres strive to provide a mix of swimming sessions to meet the needs of individual swimmers, groups and schools. And YMCA Lifeguards are trained the highest N.P.L.Q Lifeguard and Lifesaving standards.
- All of our swimming pools offer a hoist for assisted access into the water. Find out more about our Inclusive Facilities and Activities.
We offer dedicated lane swimming, some adult only swim times, kids fun swims with giant inflatables and water toys and family swimming.

Access into all of our swimming pools is included as standard in the following membership packages:

- Y:Active Aqua Kids
Y:Active Garstang Only and Y:Active Rural Splash Only members can access the swimming pools within their chosen centre and all swimming pools at member rates. Check out Memberships To Suit You for more details.
All other members can access any of the swimming pools at member rates. And access is also available to non members on a Pay as You Go basis.
