As well as superb fitness and leisure facilities we also offer a diverse range of rooms for private functions and events and for business meetings, conferences and presentations.

And YMCA Y:Active members can hire our rooms for private functions for free!*

So whatever the occasion here’s a run down of what’s on offer:

For Private Parties including Birthdays, Christenings and Anniversaries…

For up to 100 Guests

  • Thornton YMCA can accommodate up to 100 guests in their bar (late licence available Fridays and Saturdays) and function area with adjacent play room for the children at your party. Catering and entertainment options are also available, as is a dance floor, plasma TVs with live Sports coverage, pool table and darts, free parking and lift access to the first floor.

For up to 200 Guests

  • Try Lytham YMCA who offer a large newly refurbished function suite with bar (late licences available), dance floor, catering and entertainment options also available, as is free parking.Or Poulton Community YMCA’s large function room. Bar with late licences, kitchen, stage area with sound system, a flexible space suitable for a variety of seating arrangements and free parking.

For Business Meetings in Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre

For between 16 to 30 Delegates

  • The Peak Room at St Annes YMCA can host up to 16 people in a board room style and up to 30 people in conference ‘cinema’ style. Digital projector and projection screens, flipcharts, whiteboard, TV and DVD player are also available. Lift to the first floor and ramp access. Refreshments and buffet menu also available.
  • The Board Room at Poulton Community YMCA is ideal for up to 20 people for board room style meetings, training sessions and presentations. Located on the ground floor, the room can be booked with the use of digital projector and screen. Whiteboard also available. Refreshments and food can also be provided.
  • The Whittle Room at St Annes YMCA can accommodate between 20 and 25 delegates in a board room style layout. Digital projector and projection screens, flipcharts, whiteboard, TV and DVD player are also available. Lift to the first floor and ramp access. Refreshments and buffet menu also available.
  • The Spinks Room at St Annes YMCA can accommodate 30 delegates in a board room style layout. Digital projector and projection screens, flipcharts, whiteboard, TV and DVD player are also available. Lift to the first floor and ramp access. Refreshments and buffet menu also available.

For between 30 – 70 Delegates

  • The Whittle Room at St Annes YMCA can accommodate 40 delegates in a conference ‘cinema’ style layout. Digital projector and projection screens, flipcharts, whiteboard, TV and DVD player are also available. Lift to the first floor and ramp access. Refreshments and buffet menu also available.
  • The Spinks Room at St Annes YMCA can accommodate 60 delegates in a conference ’cinema’ style layout. Digital projector and projection screens, flipcharts, whiteboard, TV and DVD player are also available. Lift to the first floor and ramp access. Refreshments and buffet menu also available.
  • Lytham YMCA can seat up to 70 delegates in a conference ‘cinema’ style setting inside their large function venue. And during your lunch break why not timetable for your delegates to use the new Y:Active Fitness Studio so they can re-boot their energy levels ready for the afternoon session! Catering options are also available.

For up to 200 Delegates
