- NEW Bootcamps – starting November at Lytham YMCA, St Annes YMCA and Bootcamp Classes at Poulton, Thornton and Fleetwood YMCAs (see Timetables for days and times)…
Bootcamps have really taken off with members and non-members signing up to a programme of indoor and outdoor sessions over 4 – 5 week periods.
The Bootcamps take place early in the morning so you get the most out of your body and burn the most calories with the rest of the day ahead of you.
Recruits not only benefit from improved cardiovascular fitness, increased muscle tone & strength, but past participants have on average lost 3/4 – 1 stone in weight!

- Zumba Gold and Zumba Tone – new to Garstang YMCA
Zumba Gold on Tuesdays at the centre offers all the fun signature Zumba dance moves at a gentler pace. It combines the zesty Latin music like salsa, merengue, cumbia and reggaeton with the fun, easy-to-
follow moves and the party-like atmosphere. At Garstang YMCA, 1.30pm – 2.30pm.
Or try Zumba Tone new to Garstang on Fridays at 1.30pm. Zumba Tone combines all elements of Zumba with exercise which really give your whole body a workout for complete toning and shaping.

If you love the Zumba vibe, music and party atmosphere – try it in the water for an all over body workout with a twist. Now available at Poulton YMCA and Fleetwood YMCA.
For an empowering cardio workout where you are totally unleashed join Sue at Lytham YMCA or Lindsey at Fleetwood YMCA. Energise yourself through the programme of moves inspired by martial arts and a wide array of disciplines such as karate, boxing, taekwondo, tai chi and muay thai. Add to this some powerful beats while you strike, punch, kick and kata your way through calories to superior cardio fitness. Classes are changed regularly so you’ll never lose interest.

- Pregnancy Yoga now coming to Poulton YMCA
This class is suitable for ladies who are at the 16+ weeks stage of pregnancy. The class provides ideal exercise for pregnant women while promoting a greater awareness of the changing body.
Poses and breathing techniques taught can assist during labour as well as helping to relieve common ailments associated with pregnancy.
